An old Sonic character of mine, Compact the Hunter, and Archie's Lara-Su the Echidna. They are half sisters, both Knuckles daughters.

There will be a time when Knuckles and Julie-Su will have problems in their relationship, break up, and start dating other people. During that time, Julie-Su was pregnant with Lara-Su (but she doesn't know until later). Knuckles decides to date Rouge the Bat, and they do go out for a while, and you can guess what happens next. But after a while, Rouge fell in love with another, Shadow the Hedgehog (yes, I'm a supporter of the RougexShadow pairing more), and she and Knuckles broke up. Knuckles went back to Julie-Su, and found out that she carried his child. Rouge later on, found out that she was pregnant as well, but it was not Shadow's child. Despite this, Shadow is willing to help care for the child as if it were his own.

The children were born at the exact same time, on the exact same day. The Ancient Walkers foretold Knuckles in a dream that he will have 2 daughters who will battle each other for ultimate power. Knuckles, of course, is totally unaware of the child he had with Rouge, and is relieved to see that the so-called prophecy didn't come true when Simon was born.

Both daughters eventually learn of each others' existance from the Ancient Walkers, and both weren't too keen with each other during their first meeting, but they eventually learned to become friends. Both, however, are very competitive, and as the Ancient Walkers foretold, both battle each other for ultimate power, to see who is the strongest.

Like her mother, Compact is a treasure hunter. Compact's idea of treasure: power. She wants power to defeat Lara-Su and become the strongest of the 2. Lara-Su is a tomboy who strives to become a powerful guardian of Angel Island, like her father and ancestors before her. After her father became corrupt with power and started leading the Dark Legion, both Lara and her brother Simon (age 9 and 4 respectively at the time) fled, with the help of their mother. Before leaving them, their mother told them to start a new life on Mobius, and to challenge their father and reclaim their island once they were older and strong enough. Lara-Su has since then practiced with her powers every day. She hopes battling with Compact will also help her improve even further, to become strong enough to challenge her father.

Before I was never into the Knuckles and Rouge pairing very much, though the idea of Compact was fun to try, and I was in love with how well she turned out. After a while, I guess the Knuckles and Rouge pairing was so bad after all (but I still prefer Rouge and Shadow together more). I'm still all for the Archie pairing of Knuckles and Julie-Su, even though the comics suck a great deal now. @.o

Compact is soooooo cute in this sketch. I wish I did better with Lara-Su. I used to draw her all cool like. Now I draw her sucky. >_<
